Electric floor heating is very efficient

The lower the temperature of a heating body, the better the efficiency of the heating system is. With electric floor heating, the temperatures are low and therefore there is hardly any waste of energy which is a real advantage. This makes floor heating a very efficient form of heating. For the calculation of the efficiency of electric energy, the computer programmes work with the efficiency factor of 39% from old electricity generating plants. This inefficiency is used in the energy calculations of domestic dwellings. For the calculation, this means that the consumption of all electrical equipment is multiplied by a factor of 1.5. For this reason, electric floor heating doesn't score very well in the efficiency calculations. This is obviously not suitable at this day and age where consumers consciously choose for sustainable energy generation and the durable use of this energy.
